Sweet partings
Three different events. Three different scrapes of the comb. It just goes to show how one hairstyle can be transformed with nothing more than a bit of savvy parting.
Ok, sure, Jessica Biel probably has a team of hairstylists waiting in the wings to tend to every flyaway strand, but there is a lesson here for those of us who think mid-length hair has its limits.
The lovely (and adventurous) Biel shows us how a good part can make all the difference at three A-Team premieres.

Exhibit A: an oh-so slightly off-centre parting makes for a sexy boho feel
Relaxed Boho:
An ever-so-slightly off centre part like Jessica has here will give hair a more boho feel. It’s the ideal look for between-wash days or on the weekend when you can’t be bothered pulling out the hairdryer. Add tousled waves with the help of a texturising spray such as Bumble and bumble Surf Spray, then just rustle your hair a bit every few minutes while it dries. Carefree and fabulous with practically no work? Oh we like.

Exhibit B: "Done" but still relaxed
Chic and wearable:
Parted over the inner corner of one brow is classic Jessica. “Done” yet relaxed and totally wearable – you get the feeling that Jessica would have gone straight from the A-Team red carpet to a dinner without changing a thing. This look works equally well during work hours too of course – oh, if only my hair looked this good everyday I would be a happy girl. Use a comb to part before drying but don’t be too precious about it. You will need a hairdryer, prepping spray, such as Redken Body Full Volume Amplifier, and a few minutes in front of the mirror but it’s worth the effort.

Exhibit C: A deep side part ramps up the sophistication levels
Deeply alluring:
A deep side part that starts at the arch of your brow gives a certain kind of wow factor. It’s sophisticated and screen siren seductive. Teamed with a movie star red lip like Jessica has here and oh, this is a look to love. The key to Jessica’s look is to keep hair super sleek and gently waved at the ends (just perfect for showing off her highlights). If you’re good with a hairdryer and a paddle brush, go forth and try it. For me, I’d enlist a pro; this look should be reserved for nights when you want to have maximum impact anyway so I say it’s worth the investment.
