Since leaving my beauty post at BAZAAR, I’ve been doing more fashion writing – both editorially and commercially. When fashion brand Metalicus decided to launch a new site, they called on me to do all the writing. Post launch (in November 09) hits to the site went up 70% and sales went up 60%. I also was the Associate Editor for the launch issue of the Green With Envy magazine. Green With Envy is a cult-followed boutique in Melbourne’s CBD and Richmond. If you need a frock, this is the place to visit.
I really love beauty writing but being able to spread my wings a bit has been really fun.
I covered the opening of L'Oreal Melbourne Fashion Festival at Governmant House. It was a very special night and amazing to get inside the fort-like gates of Govt House.
I wrote this story for The Age Racing Mode, an annual Spring Racing fashion supplement.
